eCommerce and Website Product Manager
Reports to Director, Product Management
AffinityX is looking for an eCommerce and Website Product Manager to help develop, manage and lead innovative and effective solutions that aid our clients in successful revenue growth.
This position will be the principal authority/master of our eCommerce and website solutions – tasked with enhancing our product portfolio while supporting our internal teams and external clients. This role plays an integral part in the direction and execution of our company’s future by developing a robust solution suite and innovative product roadmap.
Responsibilities and Essential Duties: (Other duties may be assigned)
- Provide strategic thinking and lead the effort on product enhancement and new product development roadmap in eCommerce across all applications
- Lead cross-functional collaboration across sales, finance, apps development, operations, and marketing teams to deliver product launch outcomes
- Empathize with Partners and end-clients to prioritize product needs, features and functionality, representing the voice of our customers within our organization
- Identify product structure, packaging, and pricing at both wholesale and suggested retail
- Define key performance indicators for operational excellence of product delivery and KPI/benchmark targets for all products in domain
- Train operations and fulfillment team members on new products (or enhancements) and set standards within operations teams for product standards with regard to SOPs, KPIs and performance benchmarks
- Manage products, features, and initiatives (small and large) through full lifecycle -- from ideation to launch, nurturing it through continued iteration and growth
- Measure success of product rollout utilizing predefined internal KPIs
- Make proactive recommendations on potential product enhancements based on industry trends and advancements.
- Manage client product requests and create and update Client Change Requests (CCRs) accordingly
- Create proposals and documentation for CCRs to meet client’s requirements and recommend customized strategies for implementation.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, product development & updates, and incorporate industry best practices in day-to-day operations.
- Create and update product SOPs and workflow (Customization of SOP per client will be done by the Operations Team) and manage and maintain relevant product materials with current details
- Uphold critical performance indicators for operational excellence of product delivery and KPI/benchmark targets
- Oversee and audit the adherence to product SOPs, KPIs, quality review and operational performance audits
- Compile data to create monthly reports, including analysis for insights, optimizations and future strategy development
- Provide ongoing operations support and educational guidance to operations and account management
- Handle level 3 escalations for responsible product category:
- Capture, track, analyze, and resolve escalations/escalated client requests
- (1st escalation- job holder/ops, 2nd escalation- Account Manager, 3rd escalation- Product Manager)
- Utilize ticketing system to track escalations in specific categories of “People, Product, Process, or Technology” limitations & issues
- Develop solutions for repetitive escalations and work with operational teams to solve/train/update as needed
- Handle level 3 escalations for responsible product category:
Requirements:
- Graduate in BA/BSc/BE
- Experience: 3 to 5 years
- Proven working experience in an agency-like environment (min 3 years)
- Experience in WordPress, Shopify, BigCommerce, HTML, CSS, PHP and MYSQL
- Knowledge of SEO and Content’s impact on a successful website and product site
- Google Shopping and Google Merchant Center experience a plus
- Google Analytics certification and understanding of GA4
- Strong project management skills
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal & written communications skills (English)
- Highly organized and detail driven
- Ability to handle changing priorities and requests from multiple team members
- Desire to stay current with the latest marketing trends
- Ability to deliver high quality technical and training documentation with a keen eye for detail
- Ability to quickly grasp complex digital and technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and imagery
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
