Are you a B2B Adtech or Martech Product leader who has innovative ideas to improve products and processes as a part of the customer experience?  Are you experienced in leading a product marketing team with team members who are experts in the customers, the products, and the communications to the target market?  Do you have prior experience in product marketing for digital advertising and marketing services to small and medium sized businesses (SMBs)?  Have you helped lead in the creation of services as product offerings to simplify the procurement process?

Join AffinityX to take on this product marketing role that works across functions to create unique value for AX’s clients and successfully deliver solutions to competitively address the market’s most pressing needs. AffinityX is providing design and content services for SMBs (e.g. websites, marketing collateral, advertising, social media, promotional products) as well as digital advertising campaign sales and fulfillment.  All this is provided on a white label basis and sold via relationships with large brands.

You will lead the strategy and implementation of various marketing campaigns to support our SMB sales enablement and direct sales programs.   You will develop go to market plans for “services as products”, differentiate positioning and value propositions leveraging services offerings combined with our customer data, plus sales enablement and compelling marketing content designed to increase awareness and adoption of our products.

You will partner with leadership including sales, product, marketing, and operations to drive innovation.

Position Responsibilities and Essential Duties (other duties may be assigned):

  • Articulate product value: Create go-to-market plans with compelling product and complementary product packaging narrative and value proposition designed to maximize awareness and increase product adoption, that will be communicated into target markets, and industry stakeholders
  • Develop our product vision and roadmap: With input from teams across the organization, define our product vision and roadmap to help focus the organization on what will deliver the most value to our customers.
  • Execute new product launches: Define product-market fit, positioning, pricing, etc. for new products and services. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure readiness and exceed launch KPIs.
  • Improve our existing product portfolio: Evaluate our market fit and positioning for our existing products to find opportunities for improvement. Regularly monitor key product KPIs and execute merchandising or feature changes to continually improve our portfolio.
  • Deliver sales enablement: Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and the Client Solutions teams to define a sales enablement plan that ensures sales readiness for launch; lead key messaging and deliver solution marketing (e.g. sales process mapping, emails, decks, collateral, playbooks, social selling tools, other tools as needed)
  • Be an expert on customers, products and markets: Stay in front of market trends and competitive positioning; heavily lean on and incorporate relevant data to drive ongoing analysis of the market, customers and products
  • Be customer-obsessed: Lead and prioritize discovering the needs of our customers through focus groups and customer panels and leverage that research to refine, iterate and innovate on our product merchandising

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Competitive candidates will have 15+ years of experience in product or solution marketing in Adtech, Martech, digital media or a related field with a track record of accomplishment
  • Experience marketing tech-enabled services or creative services
  • Proven experience in working with large brands in reseller programs and / or direct sales teams selling to SMB and the need to influence large buying groups
