Marketing Manager

Overview:

AffinityX is seeking a seasoned marketing professional who has a passion for communicating sales opportunities in a persuasive, benefit-driven manner. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for building compelling go-to-market sales messaging. This collateral will be used in our new business acquisition efforts and also by our channel partners as they sell AffinityX products to the small and medium businesses (SMBs) marketplace under their own brands.

Position Responsibilities and Essential Duties: (other duties may be assigned)

  • Responsible for developing the messaging, content and compelling sales story for all channel partner sales collateral. This includes, but is not limited to:
    • PowerPoint slides for existing products, Sales Flyers, (1-2 pages each), Case Studies, FAQs, Advertising Guidelines Documentation, Sales Process Documentation, Customer Needs Assessments, Rate Cards, Training Presentations, as needed
  • Work closely with Sales and Client Solutions teams to ensure all collateral is accurate per product scope and on-brand at the partner / market level to optimize revenue growth and customer satisfaction
  • Create and deliver marketing programs and messaging to new and existing business to assist in the overall growth and adoption of our products and services
  • Develop, maintain and update new and existing marketing materials, sales collateral (incl. research statistics), case studies (products in relevant industry verticals), presentations, and messaging
  • Manage and maintain the online Partner Portal, which is the “hub” for all partner-branded sales collateral. Post updated documents, post new information, and ensure the portal meets the partners’ needs
  • Assist and execute key marketing initiatives including research, track and analyze statistics and data on corporate websites, social media channels and marketing campaigns, sales proposals, and other marketing communications
  • Collaborate and coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

Education/Preferred Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Journalism, Marketing, Communications, Business or Media
  • Journalism experience
  • Sales experience as a direct seller
  • 4+ years digital marketing experience with B2B focus, Adtech/Martech esp. highly desired
  • Experience in local media is a plus - (digital, newspaper, television or radio)
  • IAB or Google digital certifications a plus

  • Deadline-driven and a project owner from start-to-finish
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple work streams against various deadlines
  • Fluent in social media and website content management
  • Proficient in Google Suite Applications, MS Office, and relevant experience in tools such as Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Constant Contact and HubSpot
