Full Stack Web Developer
Job Summary:
The Full Stack Web Developer coordinates and implements new web development, maintenance, modification, and enhancement. The incumbent negotiates system architectural needs, analyzes system and business requirements, estimates scope, and develops project plans from written specifications. Additionally, the Full Stack Web Developer collaborates with user departments and other technology teams to implement work requests and support production systems.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develops and maintains digital properties for both internal and external clients.
- Develops and maintains procedures, documents and site templates using agreed upon tools, tag libraries, coding standards, and validation tests.
- Identifies issues and develops solutions designed to meet specifications defined by the client.
- Maintains technical and project documentation.
- Plans the development process including testing and prototyping.
- Enforces quality by performing team code reviews and developing coding standards.
- Advises management by estimating scope and impact of large projects.
- Manages corporate accounts with service providers.
- Seeks and participates in development opportunities and maintains knowledge in field of expertise.
- Extend support to teams in their daily production queue by helping build and validate websites following the set general process and account specifications.
Competency Requirements:
- Extensive expertise in front-end vanilla development: HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
- Extensive expertise in back-end vanilla development: PHP, MySQL, JavaScript.
- Extensive expertise in back-end development using frameworks: Laravel, Symfony, Slim, Mezzio, Laminas, or any PHP frameworks.
- Extensive expertise in back-end development using third-party libraries and APIs.
- Extensive expertise in both open-source and proprietary Content Management Systems (CMSs): WordPress, Drupal, Shopify, Wix, etc.
- Extensive expertise in Domain Name Management: DNS configurations, Bulk Migrations, DNS Records pertaining to services such as email (MX, SPF), authentication (TXT), etc.
- Extensive expertise in Server Management: cPanel, GoDaddy Managed WordPress Hosting, and WPEngine
- Extensive expertise in Email Management: Creation, Migrations, Set up, etc.
- Extensive expertise in creating and managing WordPress plugins especially those that need integration of 3rd-party APIs.
- Extensive expertise in optimizing websites for optimal performance on speed, data integrity, and scalability.
- Familiarity with manual set up and configurations of SSL certificates.
- Excellent analytical skills
- A dependable, persistent, and resourceful creative problem solver with sensitivity to industry standards and corporate processes and tools.
- Sensitive about best development practices and industry standards: Coding practices, UI, UX, security, etc.
- Ability to formulate and document clear and efficient procedures.
- Basic knowledge on Search Engine Optimization

- Strong communication skills and able to assess client requests with minimal supervision.
